Next, you’ll head over to the Stingray City Sandbar (only 3 to 5 feet deep) where the very friendly Southern Stingrays will make their way over to the boat to greet you. Located in the North Sound of Grand Cayman, this shallow sand bar is one of the most accessible areas in the world to get up close to these amazing animals. The water is so shallow that it can be waded at any stage of the tide, but you’ll want to grab a mask and snorkel anyway to watch these playful animals in their natural environment. Unfortunately, playing with the stingrays, starfish, and other sea life on your adventure will make time seem to fly by. The good news is, this isn’t just any tourist attraction.
